This episode was titled “Lifeline” and it released on May 9, 2021. In this episode, the team receives a call from a girl named Carla who was living in Southern France. Surprisingly, Robyn discovers that she was the daughter of her deceased mentor, David Henson. Robyn and Harry took Carla to hide in a nearby factory and for protection, they took armed pursuers on her trail. They also have her take a picture that allows Harry to recognize the lead pursuer as an Ex-Mossad operative. After that Robyn connected with a retired British spy for help. That spy charged her some money to rescue Carla and to take care of her safety. But shockingly and unexpectedly, that spy was already paid by the man who wants Carla, and hence, Robyn for forced to fly to France in order to save her. She also came to know that David whom they were thinking was dead, but he was still alive and was tortured every day to gather some information from him. He ended up sacrificing his life in order to save Carla’s life. It was such a great gesture by him where every viewer melted. After that, a voice contacted Robyn and it was Mason Quinn, a dangerous terrorist and strategic genius whom Robyn detained during her CIA days only for the agency to exchange Quinn in a prisoner swap. Meanwhile, Robyn discovers that Bishop also knows about all this, she stormed him and badly shouted at him for lying to her. Then at home, she was tackled by her aunt Viv regarding the true nature of her work. She confesses everything to Viv and she warns her to do the same with Deliah one day. With this, episode 8 ended.
